Registration
Standard program rate for the 2010
 Recreational Program has been extended through June 30, 2010! 
$80 per player  


Late Registration will be accepted from June 1st to June 30th at the increased standard fee of $80 $100
.

Registration fees include uniform(s) consisting of 1 jersey, 1 short, & 1 sock set.  Cleats and shin guards are required but are not included in the fee.

OYSL is pleased to offer 3 methods of registration:


WALK IN…..
5/1 AND 6/12 AT THE OAKDALE YOUTH BUILDING 297 GILBERT AVENUE FROM 10 AM TO 2 PM.

Fees may be paid by cash, check, or money order. New Players: A valid birth certificate will be required. U12/U14 players (DOB 08/01/96 to 07/31/00) bring 2”x2” picture.

MAIL IN…..

Download the OYSL 2010 REG FORM and  ETHICS FORM.
Mail registration documents along with check/money order to: OYSL PO Box 1670 Oakdale CA 95361 (New Players: A valid birth certificate copy is required. U12/U14 players (DOB 08/01/96 to 7/31/00) mail 2”x2” picture. Failure to include required documents will prevent/delay registration).

2010 Age Group Matrix
Games are played on Saturday at TL Davis Youth Park. Schedules vary by team. Team assignments are based on player assignments to create evenly assigned age and skill levels on each team in the bracket. Special requests must be made in writing and will be evaluated on a per case basis. 

Calendar of Events

Registration
Online Registration - 4/15 - 5/31/10 - $80.00
Walk-in Registration - 5/1 and 6/12 at the Oakdale Youth Building - 297 Gilbert Avenue from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Recreation Program Fee $80 until 5/31/10. 
Late Registration - 6/1-6/15/10 - late fee of $20.00 added (total registration $100)
Late Registration - registration/payment received after 5/31 - $100

Refund Deadline - Refund requests must be in writing and postmarked by June 15, 2010.  Requests not mailed by 6/15/10, will be denied.

League Play
Games: begin on 9/11/10 and the last game is played on 11/13/10
Picture day:  9/25/10      Picture make-up/retakes date: 10/23/10

Coaching

Volunteers needed (Head Coach & Assistant Coaches).  Each volunteer must complete an Adult Volunteer form (1628) and complete a DOJ/State background check (done by finger-printing during the League orientation).
Coaches must attend a league orientation & training prior to the release of his/her roster - Dates 7/31 or 8/4 (must attend one)
Coaches' Courses - tentatively August 20-21

Bill Meyer/All Team Coaching Application due by:
10/9/10

Bill Meyer/All Star Team Player Tryout Dates:
11/2 evening, 11/4 evening, 11/6 late afternoon/evening (brackets and coaches TBA)

Referees

Referee Course: July 12 - July 21st.  Total course: 18-hours. 
Leauge Orientation: TBA (late August)

Board Meetings
Regular meetings (2010 dates) shall be held in February (4), March (4), May (6), June (3), July (1), September (2) , October (7), November (4)  and December (2).

4 years of age
Girls  play    5 v 5  - 2 15-minute halves
Boys play     5 v 5  - 2 15-minute halves

U6 
5 years of age
Girls  play    5 v 5  - 2 15-minute halves

U8
6 - 7 years age
Girls  & Boys play 7 v 7 - 2 20-minute halves

U10

8-9 years of age
Girls & Boys play 9 v 9  - 2 25-minute halves

U12 Girls - playing on smaller field (U10 size)
10-11 years of age
Girls play 9 v 9  - 2 30-minute halves

U12 Boys - playing on full size field (U12-14 size)
10-11 years of age
Boys play 11 v 11  - 2 30-minute halves

U14 Boys & U14 Girls -- Co-ED teams planned for the 2010 season. 
12-13 years of age
Girls & Boys play 11 v 11  - 2 35-minute halves
